Change imperative in India: Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore

Kolkata : Olympic silver medal-winning shooter Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who has joined the BJP, Thursday said a change has become imperative in India.

Rathore, who won silver in the 2004 Athens Olympics, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) last year.

“I joined politics because I like challenge,” he said on the sidelines of an interaction organised by the FICCI Ladies Organisation.

Asked about the likely outcome of the coming Lok Sabha polls, he said: “I believe a change is coming and I want to be a part of the change.”
