New Delhi : India is set to go to polls from April 7 and Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and AAP merchandise have taken the lead in various cities.
Merchandise store Bluegape.com has come up with products inspired by political party visions and according to data collected by the store Modi is the popular choice in Hyderabad as 8,360 out of 10,000 users bought NaMO merchandise, said a statement.
In Mumbai too the bent is towards Modi with as many as 5,869 out of 10,000 users buying NaMO merchandise.
The merchandise includes T-shirts, caps, mugs, etc.
However Delhi and Bangalore seemed to be leaning towards AAP – 6,346 out of 10,000 users bought AAP merchandise in Bangalore and 7,165 out of 10,000 users bought the party’s merchandise in the capital.
Statistics also show that such products are more popular among men as compared to women.
Among NaMO merchandise buyers 87 percent were male and only 13 percent were female.
About 78 male users bought AAP merchandise and only 22 percent females showed interest in them.
