Detroit: First International Conference on Indian Muslim Diaspora will be held in Chicago on Sept 5, 2015.
Rasheed Ahmed, President of the US India Policy Institute (USIPI), a Washington, DC based think-tank announced here on Sunday on the sidelines of annual convention of Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).
“This conference will explore the experiences in development, democracy, and diversity of Muslims in India,” said Mr. Ahmed.
Attaulla Khan, who is the General Secretary of USIPI informed TCN that a call for submission to abstract will be sent out soon to experts and organizations that are engaged in empowering Muslims in India.
The day-long conference will be on the sidelines of ISNA convention to be held in Chicago next year.
