Dubai: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) – Dubai sector organised a programme for expatriate Indians on the life and message of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the occasion of Rabiul Awwal month.
“The whole world is celebrating and conducting programmes about Prophet Mohammad (SAW) in the month of Rabi’ul-Awwal but our mission should not limit to only one month but it should continue throughout our life time,” Ashraf Machar, in his key address on ‘Prophet Muhammad and his Message’, said while stressing the importance of the teachings and life style of the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) on January 2 here.
“The Holy Prophet, SallAllahualayhiwasallam, came with the eternal truth of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah), the only faith which provides a firm basis for the real concepts of knowledge, equity and peace. It was this faith which delivered humanity from ignorance and superstitions and spread the light of true knowledge all over the world,” he said.
“Present situation of the world is where people are suffering due to discrimination, fascism, bribery, illiteracy, double standard of administration etc. (so) even Muslim community bears same reasonability as others. Currently Muslims love with Prophet (PBUH) is limited to his teachings than practical, therefore to overcome this situation we have to strive and struggle as Prophet (PBUH) & his companions did in their life,” a release quoted him.
Earlier, the programme started with reciting verses of holy Quran by Abdul Razak Salethur, followed with a welcome address by Naveed Kundapur, the release added.
