‘Vision 2020’ for Kishanganj discussed

Kishanganj (Bihar): Asserting that “dreaming for development and struggling for making the dream true is compulsory”, Dr Khalid Mubashshir from Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia, said dreamers have bright future.

“History testifies that the nations that dreamed for their bright future, they made their dream true with endless efforts. In contrast, those that quit dreaming for a bright future, were insulted, became slaves,” said Mubashshir, the Assistant Professor from Jamia, who is also the general secretary of Human Chain, an NGO here.


‘Vision 2020’ for Kishanganj discussed

He was speaking during a discussion ‘Vision 2020 for Kishanganj’ organised by ‘Human Chain’ Kishanganj chapter this Sunday. The programme was organised under the guidance of Tarique Sufyan, president Human Chain, Kishanganj Chapter.

Shedding light on the future plans and aspirations of the Human Chain 30 Coaching Centre, Sufyan exhorted for a plan of action for all round development of Kishanganj.

Salman Akhter, chapter’s general secretary, also said Human Chain has initiated a free coaching center for underprivileged and meritorious students for preparation of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) entrance test. “This has been started with the aim of assisting the needy children, who can qualify the entrance test of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and avail the facility of free and quality education till class 12th. The recipients are able to get admissions to topnotch colleges or other institutions of higher studies and able to find career opportunities in the field of their interest,” he said.

Abu Affan Farooqui, ex President of Aligarh Muslim University Student Union, said intellectuals and social workers shall come forward to shape the society and develop the concrete plan for Kishanganj.

Chief guest Dr Khalid Anjum Usmani, a teacher from Jawahar Navodaya Vidhalaya, congratulated Human Chain for establishing the free coaching center for preparation of JNV entrance test. He said apart from quality education, healthy food and clothes, “We (at JNV) also provide well-disciplined environment to the student. I think the people who are economically not sound should send their children to JNV for better quality and free education.”
