Washington DC: IMRC (Indian Muslim Relief and Charities) is organizing a 10-day youth volunteer trip to India from July 26 to August 7, 2015.
As part of the trip volunteers will be visiting, spending quality time and learning about IMRC’s projects including the orphanages and Challenger International School (CIS) near Hyderabad, Jahangirabad Institute of Technology (JIT) near Lucknow and the Indo-US Hospital. They will also do some sightseeing in Hyderabad and Delhi.
“The goal of the trip is to instill a sense of service and charity in our young adults and develop in them a deep appreciation and attachment to our unfortunate Muslim brothers and sisters in India,” says Manzoor Ghori, Executive Director of IMRC.
IMRC provides a safe, affordable and meaningful volunteer program in India that includes working with orphans, women empowerment programs and street children programs. The program will give volunteers the opportunity to learn about their roots and culture while gaining life-long experiences that they can bring back from the trip knowing that they have made an impact on someone’s life.
