Guwahati: The University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) has received the prestigious Indian Education Awards 2015 at a glittering function held at Vivanta by Taj in Delhi on June 10 and 11, 2015.
The USTM has been conferred with the award in the category of ‘University of the Year – East’, said a statement.
Referred to as Asia’s biggest education show, the Indian Education Award is one of the most prestigious accolades that recognizes excellence in the education sector. The award was given at a packed room full of some of the country’s best minds, intellectuals and educational entrepreneurs.
USTM is the first private university on science and technology in the entire Northeast India.
