Welfare Party of India has strongly condemned the attack on Amarnath pilgrims, terming it a heinous crime.
Party President Dr. S.Q.R. Ilyas in a statement said the attack is a black blot on the Kashmiri culture and the communal amity prevailing in the state since long years.
He asked for stern action against the culprits.
Dr. Ilyas in the statement held that the PDP – BJP “unholy” government is responsible for the unprecedented worst situation in the state.
While dealing terror-related activities firmly, he urged the centre and state governments to initiate unconditional dialogue with all stakeholders.
On Monday night, some terrorists from a yet unknown terror module attacked a bus containing pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra. The attack killed 6 people including women.
Many have raised the question on registration and security detail of the bus that terrorists attacked.
