Washington : The Fay tropical storm has killed 13 and damaged tens houses in United States, being Florida the most affected, noted officials.
According to local authorities the now tropical depression has killed 11 in Florida and in Alabama and Georgia there was only one, respectively
The meteor have caused flooding and destroyed buildings and roads besides blocking electric service to thousand of citizens.
Experts note that although Fay did not become a hurricane its heavy rain constituted a serious danger still alive in Louisiana and Mississippi, so far until Tuesday.
This weather phenomenon has a record of hitting four times Florida state, assured the Hurricane National Research Center.
President George W. Bush has previously declared Florida counties of Brevard, Monroe, Okeechobee y St. Lucie emergency areas.
