Ghaziabad : A Class 9 student’s parents have lodged a police complaint here Wednesday saying he was beaten up by his school director, who has denied the charge.
“Our child was slapped, abused, kicked and treated like a culprit in front of us. The school director tried to strangulate him and abused him,” Samuel Singh and Madhu Singh, Joy’s parents who are also employed in the school, said in their complaint.
“The child cried for help and when we tried to intervene we were threatened that our jobs would be terminated,” they said about the alleged incident of Aug 25.
But Hipesh Sheffard, director of the Ingraham Institute, has denied any such incident had taken place. “This is up to police to investigate,” he said.
