Kabul : Hundreds of protesters blocked the east highway to Kabul to protest the murder of one Afghani man and two of his children by US-led troops.
The neighbors said the murders occurred during the morning attack on Hud Kheil District.
“Death to the Americans” and “Death to (Hamid) Karzai”, president of Afghanistan, chanted the protesters that blocked the highway leading to several NATO military bases.
The sources said protesters also burnt tires on the Kabul-Jalalabad highway that links Afghanistan to Pakistan.
A UN-ran probe into an air raid by US aviation on August 22nd in Herat Province showed 90 civilians killed, including 60 children.
More than 1,200 civilians have died since last January, mostly in US and NATO aerial and land operations.
