Damascus : Syria and the European Union on Thursday inked a memorandum of execution of the 3rd national programme for the years 2008 and 2010 in the framework of economic, scientific and technical cooperation relations between them.
The programme is considered as the regulator framework between Syria and the European Union through which the Union provides 130 million euros as a grant to finance programmes and projects in the several sectors and areas of priority to Syria during the years of the programme, including allocation of 2007.
The programme was signed by Head of State Planning Commission Tayssir al-Redawi and Head of Delegation of the European Commission in Damascus Vassilis Pontault Soglo.
The projects to be financed by the grant was listed according to its priority.
