New Delhi, Sept 14 (NAK): The Kashmiri Pandits putting up in Delhi and NCR observed today 14th September (Sunday) as a Balidan Divas (Sacrifice Day) at different places in Delhi, the Balidhan Divas which KP’s observe means homage to all those martyrs who laid down their lives defending the National sovereignty and integrity in Jammu and Kashmir. The Kashmiri Pandits are observing 14th September as martyrs day from last 19 years after leaving valley in 1990.
The Pandit organizations Panun Kashmir ,Kashmiri Samithi Delhi ,ASKPC ,RIK( the youth initiative) KHA Rohini and others associations jointly observed the Balidhan divas at Jantar Mantar and demanded the home land.
“14th September (Kashmiri Pandit balidan divas ) reminds us of our forced exile from the Kashmir Valley and symbolizes our struggle for back to home movement’ said Dr.Ajay Charangoo Chairman ,Panun Kashmir in a release.
“Kashmir belongs to Kashmiri Hindus as much it belongs to any other Kashmiri, hence no settlement on Kashmir will be acceptable which excludes Kashmiri Hindus and impairs integrity and sovereignty of India.” said Kamal Wagnoo, secretary Delhi NCR.

Main thing to note here today was that the Pandit organization heads Ajay Chrangoo chairman Panun Kashmir, Dr.L.N.Dhar president KSD, Kundan Kashmiri General Secretary ASKPC and some local association heads were all sitting together and were demanding the homeland for the Kashmiri Pandits.
The gathering at Jantar Mantar was addressed by Dr. Ajay Chrangoo Chairman and Kuldeep Raina -General Secretary Panun Kashmir, Rakesh Kaul General Secretary KSD, Kundan Kashmiri Gen.Secretary and spokesman ASKPC, Dr.Shakti Bhan, Ashutosh Taploo, and others.
At another place B.K.Ganju Memorial park ,Gole market Delhi homage was also paid to those martyrs who sacrificed their lives in J &K for nation and here also the major organizations like JKVM, AIKS,KSD,KPUF, came together and observed the Balidan Divas.
The speakers stressed the need to follow the resolution to observe balidan divas at B.K.Ganju Memorial park in word and sprit.
Respectful homage was paid to all those martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the two decades of terrorist violence in the state and also to those who laid down their lives during the recent Amaranth Sangarsh agitation, said in a press release from JKMV.(
