New Delhi : Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has called for “stricter laws” to deal with the “unforgivable acts” of terrorism.
Speaking Monday after meeting the wounded in Saturday’s serial bombings here, the founder head of the Art of Living Foundation said it was time for people to be strong and united.
“In this time of grief, the people have to stand united. The public also has to awaken and become more vigilant. We must not become used to terror and take a bomb blast as an everyday happening. We need stricter laws for these unforgivable acts.”
At least 21 people were killed and nearly 100 injured when five bombs exploded in three crowded places Saturday. The Indian Mujahideen claimed responsibility for the attack.
