Islamabad : A moderate earthquake on Saturday jolted Pakistani capital Islamabad and parts of its northwest, the country’s seismological department said.
The 5.4-magnitude earthquake was felt at 08:55 a.m. local time (GMT0355) and was centered 440 miles from the northwestern city of Peshawar, capital of North West Frontier Province.
There was no report of damage or casualties.
