Islamabad : A blast was heard in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province on Wednesday and casualties were feared, private Express TV channel reported.
The blast occurred near the office of District Police Officer (DPO) at a very sensitive area in Bannu district of NWFP, the report said, without mentioning the casualties.
Security forces have cordoned off the blast site and police said it was a suicide blast.
The Combined Military Hospital is located near the blast site.
