Jeddah : President General Pervez Musharraf and King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia met here Saturday for talks covering a wide range of issues, including measures to enhance cooperation against extremism and terrorism.
The talks at the Royal Palace in the Red Sea port city were aimed at evaluating the challenges confronting the Ummah, officials said.
The President was received by King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz on arrival at the Royal Palace and the talks were continuing over lunch.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and Governor of Makkah Khalid Al-Faisal were also present during the talks.
