Ban strongly condemns Saturday’s rocket attack near UN compound in Baghdad

United Nations : UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon strongly condemned late Saturday the rocket attack that occurred near the UN compound in Baghdad, Iraq, his press office said.

“Shocked and saddened,” Ban “strongly condemns” the rocket attack in the proximity of the UN compound in Baghdad.

He expressed his condolences to the families of victims and sincere wishes of speedy recovery to the injured catering staff working for the UN.
