Ranchi : A Maoist guerrilla outfit has paid tributes to the security force personnel “who laid down their lives for the country” fighting terrorists during the Mumbai terror attack last week.
The Janmukti Sangharsh Morcha (JSM), a breakaway group from outlawed Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), sent a video CD to media persons that showed armed rebels keeping a two-minute silence and holding their rifles in saluting position.
The video, said the JSM, was recorded in a forested area of Latehar district Monday.
“We pay our tribute for the security forces who laid down their lives for the country,” a member of the JSM says in the video.
The JSM, however, reiterated to fight against atrocities of security forces in the state.
In the Mumbai terror attacks, at least 183 people, including 20 security personnel, were killed. The slain security personnel included two commandos of the National Security Guard (NSG).
