Israeli F-16 fighters bombed government buildings in Gaza, considered alleged headquarters of armed instances of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) ruling the territory since June 2007.

At least ten Palestinians, including security agents and civilians, died today.

The UN agency for refugees estimated that 62 civilians are among the fatal victims, mostly children and women.

Hopelessness and frustration for the so far ineffective international action to stop the Israeli massacre have intensified among many of the 1.50 million residents in Gaza, one of the region”s most densely populated areas.

Locals expressed concern over their fate and that of defenseless people, and explained they were moving from one place to another but it is hard to get to safe areas due to the characteristics of the city.

The Tel Aviv navy also attacked zones of the city, and blocked the access of Cyprus” Dignity ship carrying medicine and food for the Palestinians, though Israeli military spokeswoman Avital Leibovich had declared they had created a humanitarian corridor.
