New Delhi : Japan’s Hitachi Ltd. is planning to invest in India’s nuclear energy sector, the company’s chief Kazuo Furukawa said here Wednesday.
“We are looking at it, we might consider,” Furukawa told reporters on the sidelines of the India-Japan Business Forum.
Furukawa, who is part of the 200-strong business delegation accompanying Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during his three-day visit, pointed out that India requires nuclear energy for power supply.
