Mumbai : L&T Infotech, the IT services arm of engineering and construction giant Larsen and Toubro, Monday said it has partnered with Micro Focus of Britain to set up a centre of excellence here.
Micro Focus provides companies with solutions to improve their businesses.
The centre of excellence is expected to help L&T Infotech expand and accelerate the delivery of products and solutions to its customers globally, the company said in a statement.
The agreement will help address new lines of business around application modernisation and migration, and enhance skill development around Micro Focus products, it added.
The centre will be used to showcase solutions and practices to existing as well as prospective customers.
“Following an extensive evaluation, we decided to partner with Micro Focus,” said L&T Infotech chief executive Sudip Banerjee.
“It was clear that the Micro Focus migration and modernisation platform provided a very low-risk, cost-effective and rapid deployment solution, giving dramatic return on investment to our customers.”
