New Delhi : HCL Infosystems has bagged a contract worth Rs.100 crore from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) for providing data and IT applications for energy accounting/auditing and consumer service centres in 14 towns.
The project under the centre’s Re-structured Accelerated Power Development and Reform Programme will help HPSEB understand the gaps in day to day operations and take fast and accurate decision towards power procurement.
The company Monday said it will also set up a disaster recovery centre and modernise the existing data centre along with creating a wide area network.
