New Delhi : Leading a high-level delegation, Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma will leave for Germany Tuesday to promote two-way trade and woo fresh investment into the country.
The delegation during its five-day visit will have several business meetings and seminars on joint commercial interest of the two countries at important German cities like Duesseldorf, Dresden and Frankfurt, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) said Sunday.
There is a huge potential for cooperation with Germany in the sectors like renewable energy, power, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics, auto components, automobile, the release said.
A large scope for cooperation also exists in fields of information technology, environmental technology, bio-technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical equipment and devices, textile, textile machinery and technical textile, infrastructure, iron and steel, food products and food processing, machinery, footwear, chemical, hi-tech industries, the release added.
