Mumbai: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Tuesday signed an agreement with French industry representative, Mouvement des Entreprises de France-International (MEDEFI), to promote better dialogue and increase information exchange between the two organisations.
“The agreement will strengthen communications and cooperation between the two organisations in the fields of business information, export-import and related statistic information, cooperation of bilateral trade and investment, technology, and other commercial activities,” a CII statement said.
The accord was signed at a conference organised by CII on India and French businesses’ perspective on the impending G20 meet.
The deal will also promote a mutual exchange of visits by businessmen and delegations of the two organisations.
The organisations will also advice their respective governments on measures that would be helpful for increasing trade and economic cooperation between businesses of both countries.
