Chennai: City-based pain balm maker Amrutanjan Health Care Ltd Tuesday clarified that the company promoters have no intention of diluting their holdings in the company but are instead open to acquisitions to expand business.
The denial comes in the wake of news reports stating that the Emami group was looking at acquiring Amrutanjan.
“We would like to emphasise that the management is not looking at selling their shares. In fact, the management is quite keen to improve their business base and are looking at some acquisitions to expand the business,” said K. Kannan, general manager (finance).
“Moreover, the organisation has been aggressively expanding its marketing horizon and is in fact very keen to expand its business base. The organisation is keenly looking at some acquisitions of its own and the promoters have been keen to further develop the business,” he said.
