Mumbai : Sachin Tendulkar was Monday cleared to play in the next group match against England after undergoing an MRI scan on his left knee.
Tendulkar underwent an MRI scan here Sunday and will join the rest of the squad in Bangalore for Sunday’s match.
The master blaster was run out for 28 in India’s 87-run victory over Bangladesh in the opening match of the World Cup in Dhaka. Tendulkar also equalled Pakistan legend Javed Miandad’s record of six consecutive World Cup appearances.
