New Delhi : Global automobile giant Volvo’s Indian passenger car subsidiary Friday launched the premium sedan S60 valued between Rs.27 lakh and Rs.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
“We are very happy to launch the car in the Indian market, I personally feel that it will have a positive impact for our company in the market,” Paul de Voijs, managing director of Volvo Auto India, told IANS.
According to him, the launch of the new car is in line with the company’s strategic plans for the Indian market.
“We have a good number of pre-launch bookings which is under the 100s currently and I see the sales growing from here,” Voijs said.
The premium sedan is available in both petrol and diesel versions.
Currently, the company offers four models in the Indian market — sports utility model (SUV) XC 90 and XC 60 and luxury sedans XC 90 and XC 60.
