Jaipur: Er. Khursheed Husain has been appointed new Ameer-E-Halqa (state president) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Rajasthan. He was elected by the state advisory council of the Jamaat. Er. Khursheed will take over from Er Mohd Salim as the head of Rajasthan Jamaat. Er. Salim was heading the state JIH for last several terms.
Er. Salim, one of the most visible faces as community leader in Rajasthan, has been prompt in action and reaction on any issue related to the Muslim community in the state. He was a familiar face in the media circle.
