Ranchi : Three Maoist guerrillas were arrested and 50 kg of ammonium nitrate used in the making of explosives recovered from Jharkhand’s Bokaro district Thursday, police said.
According to police, the three rebels were arrested on a tip off from a jungle area situated under Gomia police station of Bokaro district, which is around 130 km from Ranchi.
The arrested Maoists include Vakil Mahto, sub zonal commander of CPI-Maoist.
Police seized 50 kg of ammonium nitrate and incriminating documents from the arrested Maoists.
