“Two senior CBI officials along with ED officials will leave for Mauritius May 15. They will then go to Cyprus to investigate the money trail in the payments made to Kalaignar TV,” said a CBI source.

The CBI had, earlier, sent letters rogatory to these countries where a large part of the money is believed to be invested.

“The investigation in Mauritius and Cyprus will unearth many more things and will be helpful in filing third chargesheet in the case, probably in June or even before,” said the source.

The team is to probe the transfer of Rs.200 crore from DB Realty to Kalaignar TV through Kusegaon Realty and Cineyug Films.
