New Delhi : A bus accident early Sunday in north Delhi killed one person and injured nine others, including three women, a senior police official said.
The accident happened in Mori Gate at 5.40 a.m.
“The driver of the bus lost control and rammed the vehicle into a bus stop. One person was killed and nine were injured,” I.B. Rani, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) north, told IANS.
“The injured, three of whom are women, have been admitted to a trauma centre in Civil Lines. The person who died is a male, but has not been identified,” she added.
The driver of the bus is absconding, she said.
