New Delhi : A man has been arrested for murdering his ex-wife’s husband here, police said Friday.
Vidhya Bhushan was arrested Tuesday in his native village in Patna, a police officer said.
“The incident was reported on June 5, when the deceased Jyoti Prakash was shot at during a pooja ceremony in Prem Nagar in Delhi. Prakash latter succumbed to his injuries.
“We checked the call records of Prakash’s relatives. It was also found that his wife, Rinku, was a divorcee,” the officer added.
Police found that Bhushan was present at the spot at the time of the shooting.
“During interrogation, Bhushan said he wanted to live with Rinku, but she refused. He then planned to eliminate Prakash, who had abused him and threatened him against calling Rinku,” he said.
