Mumbai : Arrested gangster Anthony Lobo's revelation to police that he planned to kill Raj Kumar Santoshi has left the versatile filmmaker a little shaken, but he is too busy planning his next venture to bother much.

"Frankly, I never got any threats directly from them. But yes, some time ago, the cops had intercepted a call from them making a death threat to me. They had given me an armed police man for my security as a precaution," Santoshi told IANS.

"Fortunately I've been too engrossed in planning my next production to sit and worry about death threats."

Police arrested Lobo while he was planning to rob a liquor shop Friday night. During interrogation, the gangster admitted that he planned to kill Santoshi.

Now Santoshi has been provided with extra security. "There're two cops to protect me now. I've full faith in Mumbai's police force. No harm can come to me," he said.

About the return of underworld threats to Bollywood, the filmmaker said, "When had they ever gone? One keeps hearing about extortion and death threats. I can't afford to pay attention to them. If I did, my work would suffer."

Santoshi seems to have put his Salman Khan-Ajay Devgan starrer "London Dreams" on the backburner. "Salman's dates aren't working out right now. So I'm now looking at another project with Ajay."
