Kabul : Twenty-seven Taliban militants were killed in fighting with security forces in Afghanistan, Xinhua reported.
Six other militants were captured in the joint operations by Afghan and NATO-led troops in Kabul, Kunar, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Kunduz and Kandahar provinces in the past 24 hours till Thursday evening, the interior ministry said.
