“We are looking at residential apartments, malls, hotels and hospitals for our sewage treatment plants. We will also look at selling the ceramic membranes imported from our German partner for those in the drinking water purification segment. In addition, we will also target the industrial sector,” company director G.D. Rajkumar told reporters here.

“The entire purification system is fitted inside a 20/40 ft container based on the capacity needed. The factory-fitted system will be delivered at the customer’s place,” he said.

The system works on the principle of Moving Bed Bio Reactor (MBBR) with integral micro filtration.

The company makes plants of varying capacities ranging from 1,500 litres per day (lpd) to 50,000 lpd.

While conceding that the cost of the company’s system is “a little higher” compared to other systems in the market, Rajkumar said the treated water that comes out of his system is “much more clearer and totally bacteria-free”.

“The treated water, if sent through a reverse osmosis plant, would result in water that is fit enough for drinking,” he claimed.

He said the sewage water treatment plant is fully automatic and has auto input sewage detection feature.

Speaking about marketing plans, Rajkumar said the company would initially look at the southern market.

G.D. Nanovation will import the ceramic membrane from German company ItN Nanovation.
