Abu Dhabi : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Portugal have signed an agreement for economic cooperation and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
The agreement aims to organise and develop cooperation between the two countries in various economic fields and promote cooperation in the sectors of trade and industry, agriculture, transport, information, communication technology, tourism and small and medium-scale enterprises.
The agreement and MoU were inked Saturday by UAE’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Portas in Abu Dhabi.
