New Delhi : The government inducts new radars to replace obsolete ones in a phased manner, Defence Minister A.K. Antony told the Lok Sabha Monday.
In a written statement, he said these included surveillance, precision approach, medium power, mountain, low level transportable and low level light weight radars besides aerostats.
The minister was replying to a question from G.M. Siddeshwara who sought to know if India’s radar system was outdated.
