Another warm day in Delhi, similar Sunday expected

New Delhi: It was yet another warm day in the capital Saturday with sunny skies and the maximum temperature settling five notches above average at 25.2 degrees Celsius. The Met office has said that day temperatures would rise further in the next couple of days.

“The maximum temperature will rise over the next couple of days… the evenings and morning will continue to be chilly,” an official of the India Meteorological Department said.

Saturday’s minimum temperature was 7.7 degrees Celsius – average for this time of the season.

Meanwhile, Delhi residents can expect similar warm weather Sunday.

“The morning will be chilly tomorrow (Sunday) with light mist but the day will be clear and sunny the maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 24 and 8 degrees,” said the IMD official.

Friday too was warm and the maximum temperature settled two notches above average at 22.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at an average at 7.7 degrees Celsius.
