Ranchi : Maoist guerrillas Friday set on fire three vehicles of a private construction company in Jharkhand’s Lohardagga district, police said.
No one was injured in the arson that took place at Mahugao village of Lohardagga, around 90 km from here.
The refusal by the company to pay extortion money to Maoists is said to be the reason behind the arson, a police official said.
Maoist guerrillas are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
