Mumbai: The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai Tuesday announced that it will address all cases of harassment of women at its offices in an effective and prompt manner.
“All the cases of harassment of women at municipal offices must be addressed effectively,” Municipal Commissioner Sitaram Kunte said here after inaugurating a website that will register complaints from women employees.
“To make sure that those proven guilty of such offences are subjected to rigorous punishment, the MCGM will amend service rules, and send the recommendations for changes to get approval from the state government,” he added.
