20 Gurgaon pilgrims still missing in Uttarakhand

    Gurgaon : Twenty people from Gurgaon who were in Uttarakhand on pilgrimage when the hills were ravaged by floods are still missing, their family members say.

    Their relatives are in Uttarakhand in a bid to trace them but they have met with no success.

    The missing include five people from Wazirabzd village including Tarawati, 65.

    But three members of her family, including a 11-year-old boy, who got separated from the family miraculously returned home here Friday.

    Among the other missing pilgrims are former councillor Balkishan Vashiat, his wife Somlata, elder brother Ramkishan and his wife Chanderkala.

    Ramesh Goyal, his wife Santosh Goyal, sister Asha, brother-in-law Ashok Kumar and sister-in-law Geeta are also missing.

    Most of those missing had contacted their families the last time either June 16 night or June 17 morning.
