Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government’s ambitious free laptop scheme to class XII passout students has bagged the Certificate of Excellence Award in the category of Best Government Initiative in Education at a conclave held in Hyderabad.
A state government spokesperson said the award came Uttar Pradesh’s way at the e-India Governance Summit 2013 organised at Hyderabad between July 23-24.
