New Delhi: The Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a workshop to present the Draft Final Report on “Discrimination and Challenges before Women from North East India: Case Studies from four metros-New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru’.
The workshop has been sponsored by the National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
Prof. Sanjoy Hazarika, Director of the Centre shall deliver the Introductory Remarks in the Workshop. Prof. S.M. Sajid, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia shall address the audience on this occasion.
Mr. K Kokho and Ms. Anamika Deb Roy of Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, JMI shall present the Background of the Project and Field Survey Results of the project in the Workshop respectively. Dr. M Amarjeet Singh from the centre will present the Findings and Recommendations.
The programme is scheduled to be held on January 23, 2014 at 11 AM in the Seminar Room of Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, Jamia Millia Islamia.
