Islamabad : Caretaker Prime Minister Mohammadmian Soomro has constituted a commission to assess damages and losses caused during disturbances after the tragic death of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, said an official statement.
Over sixty people were killed and public and private property worth billions of rupees was destroyed during the arson in the wake of Ms Bhutto’s slaying.
The commission, to be headed by U.A.G. Isani, will have members and representatives of the administration, police and revenue departments.
It will submit its report to the government within 30 days.
