Jeddah : The Guides Establishment for Non-Arab African pilgrims rendered its services to pilgrims from more than 40 Non-Arab African Countries during Hajj of this year, said a report released here today by the Establishment.
As many as 51 Non-Arab African pilgrims died and 191 pilgrims were admitted at the holy sites’ hospitals. Of the admitted cases, 132 men and women pilgrims received medical care and were discharged from hospitals, the report said.
The Establishment provided more than 200 armchairs for the disabled pilgrims, six vehicles for the lost pilgrims, 10 ambulances, 97 buses to transport pilgrims as well as many other supporting services that enabled the pilgrims to perform their rituals in comfort and tranquility, said Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Establishment Abdul Wahid bin Burhan Saif-aldeen.
