Patna: Shakil Ahmed Kakvi, Chairman, Kainat Foundation, Kako, Jehanabad met Jawaid Iqbal, Minister of tourism at his official residence in connection with the Sufi Mahautsav celebration Kako, Jehanabad going to be held on 5th September 2014 on the occasion of Urs of great lady sufi Hazrat Bibi Kamal Rahmatullah Alaih.
Kakvi said, “Sufi Mahautsav will strengthen harmony as well as it will cement the relation of the people belongs to different religion. The people of different walk of life come to the Astana-e-Bibi Kamal alihe Rahma without any restrictions and reservations.”
Kakvi expressed his concern about the facilities and plan of further development of Dargaah Shareef, which was planned and promised during very first Sufi Mahautsa in 2011 but unfortunately till now the development is not visible at all.
All though Kako has the ability to attract tourist by keeping two water sheds, Maqbara and surj Mandir, Masjid built by Tiglaq in its account, and scope for Archaeological Survey of India at its Mahaan and old Madarsa. It will be an ideal choice of tourist place for Department of tourism, Government of Bihar.
He also expressed his gratitude to state government, particularly the Department of tourism and District Administration of Jehanaabd for including Kako in Sufi circuit. The circuit will boost the economy of Village Kako of Jehanabad.
Minister of tourism Jawaid Iqbal assured all support from department to develop Maqbara. The Inaugural session of the Sufi Mahautsav at kako is on 5th September 2014 in which Mrs Salma Aga, Kamal Khan, Ehasan Quraishi, Sabri Brothers Qawal are expected to perform.
