Chennai : Chennai-based Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd Friday announced that the Medicines Control Council of South Africa has approved of its formulation facilities, paving the way for the company’s entry into that country’s market.
These facilities, comprising a cephalosporin plant and a penicillin plant, manufacture a range of injections.
The approval validates Orchid’s standards and will pave the way for its entry into the South African market, based on specific product filings and approvals, the company said here.
