New Delhi : Skoda, a Czech car manufacturing company, is upbeat about what it describes as the “successful launch” of Fabia – a small segment premium hatchback car that was introduced in India Jan 9.
The company hosted a party here Wednesday at Ricks in Taj Mansingh Hotel, with a greatest attraction of 23 Australian beauties – who have been walking the ramp at Skoda stall in Auto Expo 2008 wooing the audiences.
Among those who attended the party “You are Special” was Thomas Kuehl, a member of the board of directors of the sales and marketing department of SkodaIndia.
Kuehl said: “The overwhelming enthusiastic response to the new Fabia worldwide continues to reaffirm the place our products have in our customer’s hearts.”
Rahul Kumar, a student who attended the Auto Expo, said: “The concept of having Australian girls model along with the car was a sure shot winner. They definitely drew a large audience at the Skoda stall.”
SkodaIndia, which launched the Fabia a day ahead of the Auto Expo 2008, Jan 9, went a step ahead of other companies by bringing down the Australian beauties to add an international look to their stall.
