Thiruvananthapuram : Governor R.L. Bhatia urged the people to strive for a better Kerala as he took the salute at an impressive parade at the Republic Day celebrations here Saturday.
Addressing the gathering, R.L. Bhatia urged Keralites to put in their best and lauded the efforts of Keralites settled outside the state.
Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan was present at the ceremony. Similar parades were held in all the 13 district headquarters.
